Salary: £13.43 per hour, inclusive of a 10% shift allowance (reflective of increases to National Living Wage from 1st April)

We have a great opportunity for a part-time Housekeeper to join our small but dedicated team of Housekeepers as we expand our Hospice site.
As part of the Housekeeping team, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness within the Hospice, providing a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and staff within both clinical and non-clinical areas.
What You’ll Do:
1. Work as part of a team to clean all areas of the Hospice, including all clinical areas.
2. Undertake deep cleaning of high-risk areas, including patient and relative rooms.
3. Maintain accurate records of cleaning, highlighting any health, safety or maintenance issues.
4. Act as an infection control champion.
The Housekeeping provision is operated over 7 days and worked on a 6-week rota. All Housekeeping staff are required to work a 25-hour week split over five, five hour days and work two weekends out of six. Shift times are as follows: 6.00am - 11.00am / 09.30am – 2.30pm / 1.30pm – 6.30pm.
What You’ll Need:
We’re looking for a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team. While previous cleaning experience is a plus, it’s not essential – full training will be provided.
