Our client are an industry leading Innovation and Transformation business, who work with customers to solve complex challenges and create lasting solutions through technology.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Lead architectural reviews of client cloud implementations against best practices, relevant threats, and acceptable risks.
* Define and implement cloud security strategies and roadmaps (for both design and remediation activities).
* Collaborate across various teams to develop and manage the implementation of secure cloud architectures.
* Contribute to building the cloud security capability within the organization, helping build a wider community and keeping the team updated on vendor platform changes, new architectural approaches, and best practices.
* Set up architecture examples and proof of concepts on vendor platforms to illustrate best practices.
* Manage the day-to-day tasking of small teams when working on assignments.
* Work with customers as they begin their cloud transformation or enhance their existing cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record working with one or more of the major cloud vendor platforms, ideally Azure
* Strong understanding of security tooling for cloud and security automation.
* Cloud architect professional qualifications in Microsoft Azure.
* ISC2 CISSP accreditation or equivalent internationally recognized membership.
* Demonstrable background in security architecture, including experience in designing and implementing technology solutions using firewall, secure networks, IDS/IPS, and IDAM systems.
* Solid grasp of threat actors and mitigations for technology risks, with a passion for learning and staying current with technology advancements.
* Experience in leading the design and architecture of cloud capabilities, including managing operational risk and assurance.
* Hands-on experience in roles across all phases of the portfolio, program, and project lifecycles.
* Familiarity with relevant cyber security standards, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and broader views of good practices.
