Responsibilities:
* As the Lead Business Analyst, my role includes leading the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the development and enhancement of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), working closely with key public sector stakeholders. I will evaluate current business processes and identify improvement areas, driving re-engineering efforts to streamline workflows and ensure the system meets customer needs. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and the customer, I will ensure that all requirements are clearly articulated and translated into effective technical solutions. Additionally, I will create detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to communicate current and future state processes, facilitate workshops and meetings for requirement gathering, and manage the implementation of change processes with new workflows or functionalities.
* In my line management capacity, I will lead a small team of Business Analysts by providing support and guidance to deliver successful project outcomes. This includes allocating work, conducting regular team meetings, and coaching for professional development. I will ensure team deliverables align with project timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations. Furthermore, I will work closely with technical teams to ensure that business requirements are understood and accurately reflected in functional specifications, while also managing risks and issues effectively.
* Engagement with stakeholders is essential; I will build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. I will facilitate communication between all parties involved to align efforts and mitigate any potential conflicts. Additionally, I will create and deliver reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding progress, risks, and issues.
