We have an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Plumber to join our team in the North West. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and build a career.
The main purpose of the apprenticeship is to learn and understand different forms of installation and mechanical service techniques and to gain experience whilst on site and in college.

Hours of work will be 39 per week, worked flexibly between the hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm – Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do:
* Learn and understand different forms of installation and mechanical service techniques
* Assist in the removal, repair and/or installation of heating and ventilation equipment, including boilers and associated control equipment
* Assist in the installation, testing and commissioning of equipment
* Gain experience whilst on site and in college
* Work under your own initiative, as well as becoming a valued team member
* Install pipes and fixtures
* Install and repair water, drainage, and gas pipes
* Install plumbing fixtures—bathtubs, showers, sinks, and toilets
* Lay new pipes in homes under construction, which can involve cutting pipe, sawing wood and welding
* Install pipes for sprinkler systems, fire suppression, drinking fountains, commercial kitchens, fountains and irrigation systems
* Comply with standards and procedures on site including health and safety regulations
* Liaise and work with all other trades as required
Have you got what it takes:
* Hold or be predicted GCSEs or equivalent, grade 4 and above / A-C in English and Mathematics
* Hold or be predicted GCSE or equivalent, grade 4 and above in a Science subject (desirable)
* Level 1 or 2 Diploma in relevant trade (desirable)
* Eager to learn and positive attitude towards work
* Desire to complete relevant qualification and assessments
* Ability to communicate
* Self-motivated
* Ability to problem solve
* Ability to follow health and safety procedures
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment
* Deliver a quality product in a timely manner
* Ability to work under your own initiative
* Good timekeeping
