Our Water sector design and build contractor client is seeking a Project Manager to join their Delivery team based at either Hampton or Walthamstow Offices with hybrid working available.

Responsibilities:
1. Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted workforce.
2. Ensure that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process, i.e., from tender handover to final completion.
3. Maintain good client relationships at all levels.
4. Maintain the company's reputation on a project by ensuring good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
5. Ensure that sufficient trained personnel are available for the project and that they are aware of their individual responsibilities.
6. Plan projects, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and then monitor and control the delivery of projects.
7. Ensure that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place, and approved prior to commencement of activities.
8. Ensure at contract completion that all records referred to in the PEP are complete and available.
9. Report all site non-conformities and identify approximate costs.
10. Manage all commercial aspects of the project in a timely and proactive way, giving accurate forecasts and estimates.
11. Have detailed working knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception through to end user acceptance.
12. Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
13. Undertake such other duties, training, and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
14. Present a professional and positive image of the department in all internal and external contact.
15. Understand and implement the quality, safety, and environmental policies and targets.
16. Be aware of the need to satisfy customer requirements with the aim of enhancing customer perception and satisfaction.
17. Maintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering water and wastewater design and build projects.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
1. Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.
2. Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering-related discipline.
3. Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
4. Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients, stakeholders, and end users.
5. Must be delivery-driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost, and quality objectives.
6. Experience in project delivery.
7. Strategic, operational, technical, and management skills.
8. Knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE, with the ability to negotiate and administer.
9. Ability to present at company Governance Reviews in a leading capacity.
10. Risk & Opportunity Management experience.
11. Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
12. Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
13. Chartered with an engineering, commercial, or construction institution (Desirable).
