Job Overview:
This is the first Enterprise Account Executive position at Medi2data, marking a critical milestone as we transition from a founder-led sales approach to a structured, scalable sales function. This role will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our commercial strategy as we embark on an aggressive growth trajectory. Beyond driving new business and account expansion, the successful candidate will contribute to developing and refining our sales framework to support long-term scalability and operational excellence.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring, managing, and expanding relationships with enterprise-level clients across key industry sectors. You will play a crucial role in positioning Medi2data as the premier provider of consented medical evidence solutions, ensuring that our clients maximise the value of our technology and services.
This is a strategic, consultative sales role that requires a deep understanding of the client’s business challenges, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and engage enterprise-level prospects, understanding their needs and challenges in obtaining medical evidence.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive new business and grow existing relationships.
* Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.
* Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to develop a structured sales framework and refine the go-to-market strategy.
* Support the transition from a founder-led sales model to a scalable, process-driven sales function.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Client Services, Product, Clinical, and Engineering) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
* Present Medi2data’s value proposition to C-level stakeholders, demonstrating how our solutions improve efficiency, compliance, and decision-making.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to refine sales strategies and uncover new opportunities.
* Manage account forecasting and pipeline development, ensuring accurate reporting on revenue and growth metrics.
* Represent Medi2data at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
* Compile and develop materials to support sales initiatives, including presentations, proposals, and case studies.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, preferably within health tech, insurance, legal, or financial services.
* Experience selling SaaS, data-driven solutions, or technology-enabled services.
* Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions to senior decision-makers.
* Ability to build long-term strategic relationships and drive customer success.
* Self-starter with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Data-driven approach to sales, with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline management.
* Understanding of healthcare data privacy, compliance, and security standards (preferred but not required).
