What the Job Involves As a Service Manager, you will lead multiple services within the Children's Young People and Family division, overseeing areas such as Referral and Assessment Service, Children’s Social Work Service, and Permanency Service. You will ensure service quality and improving outcomes by managing a significant budget, meeting performance targets, and maintaining compliance with legislative and safeguarding standards. Your role includes developing and implementing service plans, collaborating with multi-agency partners, and representing the department in various forums. You will also manage staffing, promoting a culture of high standards, and ensuring quality assurance processes are in place. Regular office presence is required, typically 3-4 days a week.
