Job Duties:
* Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in the East of England area
* Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions both in-person and online
* Develop tailored lesson plans and educational materials to meet individual student needs
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to ensure academic improvement
* Collaborate with schools, parents, and other stakeholders to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
* A relevant teaching qualification
* Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles of individual students
* Proficient in using educational technology for online tutoring
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional certifications in Special Education or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Combination of in-person and online tutoring sessions
* Travel within the East of England area may be required
