£10,414 - £10,907 (19 hours per week, Term-time only)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Support Assistant to join our office. The role is office based and also involves supervision of children and organising play activities for children during break and lunchtimes.
The successful candidate will be trustworthy, dedicated and maintain confidentiality at all times. You will also be competent in the use of IT systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
A knowledge of PKC Schools working systems, such as SEEMIs, PECOS and Parentpay, would be advantageous but in house training will be given.
You must have the ability to work as a team but also be able to work on your own initiative.
You must be professional when dealing with parents/carers, professional agencies and clients and be empathetic, caring and nurturing when interacting and supporting children and families.
Knowledge and commitment to deliver and improve service provision by keeping up to date with relevant legislation, processes and procedures, ensuring high standards are maintained is required.

- Contribute to the work of the team/service through active participation
- Understand and have an awareness of the wellbeing and individual needs of client/service users
- Ability to observe, record and share client/service users changing needs, ensuring information is up to date.
- Digital skills to operate and maintain relevant systems
- Committed to delivering high quality services in accordance with PKC Customer Service Standards.
- Demonstrate confidentiality and integrity of all council information.
