Field Sales Account Representative - Southern Areas

Our client has a wide client base of existing customers who they sell their products to and maintain a regular 4-6 week visit cycle to change products and provide new stock for the next promotions.
As a Field Sales Account Representative, you will be assigned to a particular geographical area where customers will be clustered. You will receive a company van, mobile, and fuel card to fulfill your duties.
You must be capable of occasional heavy lifting and physically fit to load a van as you will be required to return goods and give new stock to the businesses. You may be required to stay overnight occasionally in accommodation paid for by the business depending on your travel.
Completing at least 10 visits per day, your responsibilities include:
1. Developing and sustaining valuable, long-term trading relationships.
2. Professionally representing and upholding the company's values.
3. Achieving and surpassing budget sales and efficiency targets.
4. Managing distribution, effective merchandising, and product placement.
5. Exploring and implementing new channels of opportunity and distribution.
6. Optimising time and resources to maximise productivity.
7. Maintaining excellent communication, administration, and paperwork for all sales and promotional activities.
8. Managing appointments and timekeeping according to the agreed daily schedule.
To be successful as a Field Sales Account Manager, you should have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
2. A full UK Driving License.
3. Clear communication skills with excellent relationship management abilities.
4. A driven, competitive, and challenge-oriented mindset.
5. Strong commercial awareness and integrity.
6. Flexibility and adaptability, capable of working individually and within a team.
7. A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
8. Self-motivation with a strong work ethic.
9. IT literacy with strong analytical skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 + quarterly bonus scheme
Working Hours: 8am onwards Monday to Friday with some flexibility as long as targets are met.
