Project Manager - Central Belt - Up to £70,000 DOE + Car / Allowance + Package
First Task Professional are currently working alongside an established contractor who are actively seeking seasoned Project Managers to work in their renewables sector.
They have experienced exponential growth in the last 5 years and are set to continue on the same trajectory.
The right individual will have demonstrable experience dealing with civil engineering projects - experience interfacing with a Utility is beneficial but not prohibitive if not.
Projects will be up to £10m value across the central belt in the renewables and power sector.

Responsibilities:
1. Represent the company in external and internal meetings.
2. Administer contracts and liaise with statutory bodies (SEPA, HSE, Local Authorities).
3. Manage project programmes, progress reports, and technical meetings.
4. Oversee work package scoping and procurement with QS.
5. Ensure work is carried out safely, minimizing risks to people, equipment, and materials.
6. Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
7. Coordinate subcontractors to ensure cooperation and safe working conditions.
8. Accompany HSE inspectors on site visits and implement recommendations.
9. Organize site operations to minimize environmental impact.
10. Follow defined procedures and contribute to company objectives.
Requirements:
1. Essential: HNC/D in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, project management experience, IT proficiency, strong communication skills.
2. Desirable: BSc (Hons) or S/NVQ Level 4/5 in Construction Management, experience in power/energy projects.
