With over 10 years of experience, our dedicated Care Home Manager, Tracey, is committed to building a supportive and enjoyable environment for both residents and team members. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated practitioners to work night shifts and contribute to providing exceptional, person-centred care. As a Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the night, and taking on senior responsibilities to support the management team. Key Responsibilities As a Practitioner (Nights), your role will include: Providing Outstanding Care Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and bedtime routines. Monitoring residents during the night, offering reassurance, and attending to their needs. Encouraging independence while tailoring care to each resident’s preferences and abilities. Offering companionship and emotional support during quiet or challenging moments. Senior Practitioner Duties Supervising and guiding night staff to ensure high standards of care. Conducting staff appraisals, supervisions, and training sessions. Maintaining accurate records and care plans in line with regulations. Communicating effectively with residents’ families and healthcare professionals. Assisting the Home Manager with tasks such as interviewing, performance monitoring, and team development. Maintaining Standards Ensuring a clean, safe, and homely environment during night hours. Adhering to care plans and health & safety guidelines at all times. What We’re Looking For We’re searching for individuals with the following qualities and qualifications: Experience: Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a care home or similar setting. Qualification: Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Skills: Confident in record-keeping, using technology, and guiding colleagues under pressure. Personality: A positive outlook, warm demeanour, and passion for person-centred care. Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to residents' needs.
