Up to £11.44 per hour + paid holidays and pension
Our NPS client requires two administrators to join the busy team on a temporary ongoing basis, with no current end date.
One role is full-time, Mon - Fri 9-5, 37hrs per week, £11.44/hr.
The other is Mon - Thu 1-9pm, 30hrs per week, £11.44/hr.
Our client is based in the centre of Nottingham, with good access to transport links.
The role is fully on site due to its nature.
This role will offer a great opportunity to work within the Probation Service and gain experience within the Public Sector.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Administrative duties as well as answering phone queries, dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
2. General reception duties, door access, signing in/out of visitors, directing of visitors within the building, booking of rooms, stationary orders.
3. Data inputting from a spreadsheet onto a database.
4. Liaising with staff and other probation users with professionalism.
5. Monitoring of a centralised inbox.
6. Locking up of the building (1-9pm receptionist).
7. Stock taking and petty cash reconciliation.

Ideal candidates will be confident, outgoing, enjoy interacting with a variety of service users with professionalism and have a calm demeanour. You will also have excellent customer service skills and a passion to help people.
Our client requires the following skills:
1. Good strong admin/reception experience.
2. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
4. Ability to remain professional at all times and converse with a variety of service users.
5. Excellent organisational skills and experience of working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking.
The pay rate is £11.44 per hour and benefits include holiday pay and pension scheme.
Full training will be given on the systems, including the panic and escalation process, but the expectation is, you will hit the ground running.
The role will require full 3-year referencing and HMPPS vetting. Due to this, the role will not be an immediate start.
