Quality is important. Without it, who knows what kind of a mess we would be in, especially with very high level engineered products in the world we live in today. A world of total chaos it could be argued…
So how does being a Senior Quality Manager for a world leading engineering and energy company sound? 1 of the “top 25” companies in the UK to work for?
A chance to come into a world leading manufacturing facility and to develop the quality department as you see fit with every resource you could want to make it work.
The Person:
Whilst we are pretty open to the candidate here, you will need a strong manufacturing background (ideally automotive, but not totally essential) and driven large quality departments.
Someone who wants to use this as a stepping stone into really heavy hitting positions in a world leading organisation, with opportunities al around the globe.
You will need strong quality engineering principles (8 D, lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement, but you will be moulding the role and department as you see fit.
The Role:
As alluded to, this is a senior position where you will be leading a large quality department.
To set the scene, you will have a team of 2 managers and their teams of engineers, so around 24 all together who are highly skilled but can always be trained further and the department evolved.
We manufacture world leading engineering components that are supplied in to various sectors across the world and this is our flagship manufacturing facilty in the UK, so the constant investment in to this site is… significant.
Company:
This is working for a worldsiwde powerhouse within the engineering and energy world. You’ll have probably used 1 of their many products in the last week…
With a turnover in the billions (and that is still constantly growing), they want to bring in a talented professional who wants to use this as a chance to go even further, where they have a unriveled track record in the development in all their staff.
