About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with a background in an MSP environment to lead our internal operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of MSP workflows, service delivery, and client management to ensure the seamless functioning of our internal IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
1. Internal IT Operations: Oversee and manage the internal IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT technicians responsible for internal IT support, ensuring their growth, performance, and adherence to best practices in service delivery.
3. IT Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce robust security measures, policies, and procedures to protect internal systems and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
4. IT Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement IT initiatives aligned with business objectives, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
5. Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Assess new technologies, tools, and solutions, recommending and overseeing their implementation to improve internal IT operations.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and drive innovation in internal IT service delivery.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, etc.) are advantageous.
2. Proven experience (5+ years) in an IT managerial role within an MSP environment, demonstrating expertise in service delivery, client management, and internal IT operations.
3. Strong understanding of MSP workflows, tools, and processes, with a focus on delivering exceptional service internally.
4. Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, security, networking, and cloud technologies relevant to MSP operations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
