Teaching Assistant
About the Role:
Teach Now is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the Key Stage 2 team at a vibrant primary school in Cheshunt. This is a part-time, temporary position where the Teaching Assistant will assist in lesson delivery, provide targeted interventions, and support students with special educational needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, focusing on SEN students.
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Supervise students during break times and activities.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 2.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach.
• Experience with SEN support is desirable.
• A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
