To provide an efficient and effective day to day service for Heads of Year, parents and pupils and provide frontline support for pupil wellbeing and to monitor pupil attendance with the Head of Year.Key Responsibilities includeMonitor and update pupil attendance and punctuality with Head of Year. Recognising any attendance patterns.Update attendance marks following ‘First Response’ with parent/carers for any absences.Provide reports to Head of Year on attendance, behaviour, fixed penalty notices and inclusions.Take a key role in dealing with pupil wellbeing concerns by working on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils.Be a first point of contact for pupils that require immediate support and redirecting pupils to relevant professionals in school.Support with the transition of Year 6 to 7 pupils and Year 11 to post 16-provision.Undertake mediation and restorative interventions with pupils as appropriate.Organisation of Parent Teacher Consultation Evening.To administer First Aid to staff and pupils (following appropriate training).Coordinate with Head of Year any Transition and Induction days with Year 6 pupils to Secondary School.
