Relationship Director / Senior Relationship Manager
Remote role – candidates need to live and work / cover the North of England and / or Midlands.
The bank:
A successful, stable and growing European Commercial bank who established their UK operations 40+ years ago. The UK business is on a journey of growth with plans to double their lending book over time.
The role:
You will be responsible for delivering lending growth through the development of new (won directly and via broker / professional introductions) and existing customer relationships across your territory and portfolio. Deal sizes typically range from GBP 1-20m with a focus on asset backed operational real estate finance assets such as (but not limited to) care homes, hotels, children’s nurseries etc.
Core responsibilities:
* Winning new business and writing / presenting credit papers
* Building and managing a portfolio, with support
* Developing and maintaining an appropriate introducer network
Experience required:
* Front line commercial banking (in the North of England and / or Midlands) with strong credit skills, focused on the large SME and / or Mid-Market segments
* A strong track record of new business origination – both directly and via professional introducers including brokers
* Detailed knowledge of the end-to-end lending lifecycle
