Job overview
Working as part of the Lincolnshire Heart Centre to provide admin support to the Cardiology team to deliver the trust objectives and strategy, and to support delivery of inpatient and outpatient services across United Lincolnshire Trust.
Main duties of the job
* Using NHS software (Careflow) to admit, discharge and transfer patients
* Prepare nursing packs for pre-assessment clinic
* General admin duties (photocopying, laminating, filing, ensuring paperwork drawers are replenished)
* Responding to telephone enquiries & assisting members of the public attending the Unit for procedures
* Assisting the nursing team as required
Person specification
Qualifications
* GCSEs or equivalent in Maths & English
* Evidence of good written and verbal communication skills
Skills
* Ability to demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with Trust Values Framework
* Excellent telephone manner
* Evidence of good written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrate use of initiative in problem solving
* Be able to work with minimal supervision
