For over 25 years, we have been producing and supplying a range of high quality, quarried, natural stone building materials, flooring and premium masonry products. We are a dynamic and growing company seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Reporting to the company Directors, the successful candidate will have strong commercial, and organisational skills, with a proven work history in a reactive sales environment. You will be working alongside the Sales Director, within a small sales team.
The role will suit a proactive individual with the ability to process, manage and organise to drive best practise and service to the companies’ customers and internal stakeholders. A strong understanding of the sales process and the need of accurate information flow to other departments is critical. You will need to possess the ability to communicate at all levels of the business, be a team player and be committed to delivering our company values.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and qualify new sales leads through various methods.
* Follow up opportunities, produce quotes and maintain regular contact to secure business.
* Close sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
* Identify potential up-selling or cross-selling opportunities.
* Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service and their benefits.
* Stay up to date on new product developments and enhancements.
* Effectively demonstrate and communicate product features and benefits to customers.
* Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
* Carry out site visits and delivery of samples to potential clients.
Attributes:
* A proven track record and sales experience in the industry, preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels.
* Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Self-motivated and results oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license.
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
