We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Senior Press Officer to join our motorsport division, based in Central London and with extensive global travel to be on-site at race locations. The Press Officer/ Communications Officer will be responsible for proactive media relations, writing press releases, managing senior team personnel, organizing media schedules, liaising with journalists and photographers, processing media, organizing press conferences, plus much more.
Requirements:
1. Mid/ senior level as will need to travel to race events and work independently at international race weekends
2. 5-10 years experience working in motorsport in a press/ PR role either for a team, agency, rights holder or manufacturer
3. Established connections with motorsport broadcasters/ media and within the sport
4. In-depth knowledge of the motorsport landscape, being comfortable working with teams, drivers, and rights holders, and coordinating media requirements with these stakeholders on-site
5. Crisis comms experience and knowledge
6. Proactive approach to spot and leverage opportunities
7. Understanding of media reporting and analysis
