An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Part time, substantaive Specialist clinical Nurse Senior position on Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Northern General Hospital.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse interested in working as a Band 6 CNS for CF unit, NGH and to assist the Band 7 CF CNS to manage the CF inpatient and outpatient unit. Support This will be for a 9-month secondment.
This role will be vital in supporting the staff on the CF ward. They will also ensure the highest possible quality care is delivered within the Respiratory ward and wider directorate, and that it meets the expectations of the individual patients.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 clinical Nurse Specialist you will work with a multi-disciplinary team including specialist physiotherapists, dieticians, occupational therapists and skilled consultants to care, in a collaborative workforce, for our patients. You will need to be highly motivated, committed, clinically competent and able to manage the delivery of optimum care to adults in both community and acute settings.

GRaDE Care Group is comprised of 3 clinical directorates:

* Gastroenterology and Hepatology
* Respiratory Medicine
All three directorates operate on the Northern and Central campus' although the acute admitting base for all of the specialties is at the Northern General Hospital. The Care Group has 11 acute base wards at the Northern General Hospital and one acute and one elective base ward at the Central Campus. Outpatient services operate on both campus' and are supported by the Patient Booking Hub at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
