This role will play a vital role in the growth and development of the Finance function at McGill’s, and ultimately the wider business. You will help support top level strategic decision making and both short- and long-term financial planning, through comprehensive financial analysis and reporting. You will work closely with Area Directors and senior managers, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to gather input and provide insight into forecasting, recommending actions to optimise when required. You will also support the preparation and submission of company tax returns, as well as submitting regulatory returns whilst ensuring compliance is met - helping to drive the redesign of finance processes with a key focus on efficiency and control across the function. We are seeking an exceptional finance professional, with demonstrated experience in financial reporting, planning, and regulatory compliance, as well as expertise in supporting finance transformation projects. To succeed in this role, you should have a professional qualification (or be working towards one) such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. This role will require a proactive leader and collaborator with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, to oversee the management accounts and financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
