At Ramsay Health Care UK, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Pinehill Hospital. This is a full-time position that requires the right individual to provide exceptional patient care and support in our theatre department.
The role

As a Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the surgical team in the operating theatre, ensuring that all procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise and knowledge will be invaluable in maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Key responsibilities
* Support the surgical team in the operating theatre, including preparation of patients, equipment, and theatre environment.
* Contribute to the effective management of theatre resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and advancements in orthopaedic surgery.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes and experience.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A valid nursing qualification (e.g., RGN, RMN, RNLD) and relevant post-registration qualifications or experience.
* Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in orthopaedic theatre practice, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.
