Bideford, North Devon Full Time Free Parking Salary Negotiable Join Our Team at Symbro Group Ltd We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our Payroll Manager in producing accurate and timely payrolls for our operations. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, operating on monthly payroll cycles. What You’ll Be Doing: Preparing and inputting payroll data for accurate processing. Managing key payroll life-cycle events, including: Joiner and leaver administration Absence management and record-keeping Salary, allowance, and benefit changes Compliance with statutory obligations (PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, NMW, etc.) Processing variable pay elements, including bonus calculations and inbound payment interfaces. Auditing payroll data and executing critical system tasks. Generating and analysing payroll exception, error, and KPI reports. Submitting external reports to statutory bodies, benefit providers, and linked systems. Managing and reconciling third-party payments (pensions, childcare, voluntary deductions, etc.). payroll processing What You’ll Bring: Experience in payroll operations and compliance with payroll legislation. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis. Ability to organise and prioritise tasks efficiently.
