Join a highly respected manufacturing business as Interim HR Manager, covering a 12-14 month maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to step into a truly generalist leadership role within a collaborative and well-established team.
The Role: As Interim HR Manager, you'll be responsible for the full HR remit, supporting a varied workforce. You'll lead and work alongside a capable HR Officer, providing operational and strategic HR support to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day HR operations, managing everything from employee relations to recruitment and training.
* Provide advice and guidance to line managers on HR policies and procedures.
* Oversee absence management, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
* Take ownership of mid- to senior-level recruitment activity.
* Support and develop the HR Officer.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company procedures.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives.
* Maintain and improve HR documentation and records.
* Contribute to HR projects.
About You:
* Proven experience in an HR Manager role (5+ years minimum).
* Strong UK employment law knowledge.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, regulated, and operational environment.
* Previous experience in manufacturing or similar sector preferred.
* CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards); open to Level 5 for the right person.
* A practical, approachable HR leader who is happy to roll up their sleeves.
* Confident advising managers and working autonomously.

Salary & Benefits:
* £50,000 - £60,000 package

Working Hours:
* 37.5 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday
