We are looking for experienced Locomotive Technicians for a permanent role based in Doncaster.
The role
1. Carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification and fault finding on locomotives.
2. Lead engineer for contracts, projects or tasks as necessary to support operational performance.
3. Part of the Engineering Services On-Call Roster, providing technical assistance over the phone or in the field as required.
4. Updating SAP system to ensure availability of parts.
5. Inputting of data into the locomotive history tracking system.
6. Assist other engineers on the team.
7. Adhere to strict H&S Policy.
8. Carry audits in line with Company quality management standards and processes.
9. Work in line with legislation and rail industry requirements.
Qualifications & Experience required to be successful in Locomotive Technician's Role
1. BTEC National Certificate in Engineering OR Mechanics (ideally L3).
2. Personal Track Safety.
3. Driving license.
Hours
37.5 hours + lots of overtime available at time and a half. An 8-week rota of days and nights. 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 off.
