Job Description A Facilities Coordinator undertakes a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. An excellent Facilities coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry administrative duties with accuracy and speed. You will liaise with personnel at all levels within the business as well as visitors and contractors. The purpose is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organisation. Responsibilities Liaising with the Group Facilities Manager, Facilities Team and landlord to report any maintenance matters, monitoring to ensure remedial work is undertaken promptly and safely. Meeting room and desk booking management. Assisting visitors and clients, providing them with the reasonable resources they may need during their visit. Monitoring and reviewing the performance of facilities service providers. Management of all office stationery and FM supplies. Raising and goods receipting purchase orders and invoices within E1. Organisation of events based around promotion of well-being and team bonding. Monitoring of all applicable FM/SHE legislation within the Office Qualifications Essential Proven experience as administrator / facilities coordinator or in a similar role Experience in customer service will be a plus Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, “back-office” and accounting software Working knowledge of office equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Reliable with patience and professionalism About Us Costain helps to improve people’s lives with integrated, leading edge, smart infrastructure solutions across the UK’s energy, water, transportation and defence markets.
