Imperial College Healthcare (ICHT) NHS Trust wishes to recruit a 10 PA Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to address our growing backlog of patients waiting to be seen in outpatients and provide regular operating sessions. The post also includes an alternate week caesarean section list and on call commitment for obstetrics and gynaecology.
The post holder’s main area of focus will be to:
• Provide benign gynaecology outpatient clinics, one-stop ultrasound clinics and Rapid Access Clinics.
• Provide regular operating lists, contributing to the efficient use of theatres.
• Provide an alternate week Caesarean section list/Delivery suite cover.
• Participate in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant on call rota.

This is a 10 PA Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist post, for a period of 12 months, designed to reduce the number of patients waiting for a new gynaecology outpatient appointment and provide regular operating lists.
9DCC PAs per week (including clinical activity, clinically related activity, predictable and unpredictable emergency work) including
· Major inpatient operating lists
· Outpatient clinics benign gynaecological conditions, including one-stop scanning clinics.
· Rapid Access Clinics
· Contribution to the Delivery Suite rota and Obstetrics and Gynaecology on call rota.
Supporting Professional Activities
1 PA per week:
1 SPA - CPD (including audit, clinical governance,appraisal & job planning and Mandatory training).
