Product Manager - Packages
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:
The Product Manager – Packages will take on responsibility as a technical product management specialist, demonstrating excellent understanding of market and customer needs. Working as part of the Product Portfolio team, the Product Manager will support sustainable long-term growth, maximised profit and an increased vitality index for the portfolio by ensuring our products and services meet customer needs and are attractive to the market.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on:
1. Situational analysis to understand strategic trends, market drivers and competitive forces.
2. Management and development of the PSSO portfolio into sectors through a mix of technical, engineering, commercial, strategic and marketing activities.
3. Supporting new product development projects in the market assessment phase.
4. Maintaining regular contact with Operating Companies internally and external customers; assisting with market intelligence investigations to understand current and future customer needs for products and the support required for successful implementation/adoption.
5. Working with Marketing colleagues to manage the production of sales collateral such as brochures, sales tools and training materials to support successful sales growth and adoption.
6. Assisting with launch related training and promotional activities.
7. Being an active member of new product introduction (NPI) teams; including ownership of gate review meetings, leading technical specification development meetings and participating in product development project meetings.
Your previous experience is likely to include:
1. Working within Product Management, or a similar role.
2. Operational sales environments where portfolio products are provided into a wide variety of end-user customer applications.
3. Market-led product development.
4. Working in a strategic business development discipline within the engineering industry.
5. Developing engagement with internal stakeholders/Operating Companies.
6. A commercial and technical, customer-facing background.
7. Working within an innovative role.
