CS 31747 Field Service Engineer - Waste Machinery £35,000 - £54,000 (OTE based on average Engineer overtime) Based in Southeast - UK Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Engineers who have operated in the waste or recycling sector, interested in a Field Service Engineer position based from home. As a Service Engineer you will carry out repair and service of waste machinery including balers and compactors for a leading engineering service provider. Role Profile Responding to reactive maintenance requests within the UK mainland. Liaising with and working alongside technical engineers. Repairing, testing and maintaining equipment. Providing service report and time sheets to the Service Manager for evaluation. Providing customers with reports and feedback on their service requests. Developing and maintaining relationships with customers. Making recommendations and providing advice to customers, peers and superiors alike. Providing feedback on future product development, features and functions, including involvement in project teams as required. To assist on the development of the service business model, relating to opportunities for continuous improvement and profitability. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management both on company and external customer sites. Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility. To undergo training and development to support the company's drive towards improved working practices and policies.Applicant Profile Full clean UK driving licence and own car. 3-5 years experience working on waste machinery such as balers or compactors. Willingness to work on waste handling machinery and associated conditions. Able to be flexible and work away when required on customer sites.Package Basic rate offered on a 40-hour week contract. Overtime paid at x1.5 over 40 hours per week and x2.0 on Sunday and Bank Holidays. Average overtime is 55 hours worked per week. London weighting offered if based in London or surroundings.
