Compliance Assurance Manager - Facilities Management - Reading (some travel in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/West London area) - £45,000 DOE plus excellent benefits - 6-month FTC
This company, a player in the FM world, requires a Compliance Assurance Manager to be based at their prestigious client site in Reading with some travel in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/West London area. Contract Length: 6-month FTC
Salary: £45,000 DOE plus excellent benefits
Benefits: 25 days Holiday plus BH, plus flex benefits scheme.
Location: Reading (some travel in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/West London area)
Hours of Work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Support compliance activity to ensure it is completed and documented in accordance with contractual obligations.
2. The primary activity will be an audit of all compliance records and activity for the account (self-delivered and outsourced activities) to establish compliance status for the duration of the contract.
3. Once status is determined, a gap analysis and action plan is to be developed to address any gaps identified.
4. Support a culture of continuous improvement and identify innovation where possible to streamline compliance activities.
5. Promote and drive a strong safety culture across the account in accordance with values and the Be There for Life framework.
The successful candidate:
1. A strong technical background and demonstrable experience in compliance within the Facilities Management/Building Services Industry.
2. Experience in compliance auditing, contract mobilisation and demobilisation advantageous.
3. Knowledge and experience of compliance systems, auditing and statutory legislation required.
4. Able to manage internal customer relationships with excellent negotiation skills.
5. Proven ability to motivate, coach and develop others.
6. Experience in delivering and developing sustainable compliance objectives.
7. Commercial awareness with strong presentation, influencing and analytical skills.
8. Valid full driving licence.
