What skills and experience we're looking for
Bishop Walsh Catholic school is looking to recruit an RE teacher (either full time or part time) into its outstanding RE department. It is desirable that the applicant be a Catholic but not required for application. An understanding of the teachings in Catholicism is however essential as it forms the main part of the teaching in RE. It would be desirable that the candidate had experience of teaching A-Level RE. The department achieves outstanding results and Bishop Walsh Catholic is a desirable school for staff and pupils, being highly oversubscribed. The recent CSI inspection (July 2023) rates the school as Outstanding.

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing six Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are based in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Aston.
