Science Teacher/Professional
Protocol Education are working with local schools in the area to appoint enthusiastic and committed Science Teachers and specialists to join their teams. With that in mind, we are looking for individuals who carry a passion for Science, working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives and education.
Roles Available in Areas of: Swindon, Malmesbury, Bradon and surrounding areas
Start Date: Easter/September 2025
Employment Type: Full time - part time/job shares also encouraged to apply and would be considered
Qualified Teachers paid to scale
QTS/ECT preferred. Schools also happy to receive applicants from Unqualified Teachers with Subject Specialism.

Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons to students - Unqualified Teachers not expected to plan
2. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
3. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning
4. Establish a positive and supportive learning environment
5. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support
Required Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT is preferred.
2. Degree/Experience in Maths or related field
3. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science
Experience:
1. Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level is preferred
2. Experience working with Children/Young People within education or similar field (coaching, youth work etc)
3. Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Excellent understanding of Science concepts and principles
2. Effective classroom management skills
3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
