Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Stunning Lake District Location
Type: Equine Vet to join a Mixed Practice
* This position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload, including National Hunt racehorses, competition horses, riding schools, pet ponies, and donkeys. Facilities include:
o Stable block and knockdown box
o Heated examination rooms and theatre
o Weighbridge and 23 paddocks
o State-of-the-art equipment, including portable DR x-ray, ultrasound, video gastroscopy, respiratory and dental endoscopes
o Advanced tools such as dental power instruments, surgical and therapeutic lasers
The Role:
* Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and expanding ambulatory team. You’ll be supported both on the road and in the clinic by experienced equine technicians, working in a modern, well-equipped environment designed to help you thrive.

Duties:
* The team provides full clinical freedom to work up cases and encourages the development of individual clinical interests. During breeding seasons, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of a BEVA-approved AI centre, offering both chilled and frozen AI services.
* The practice also collaborates with a veterinary dental specialist for advanced dentistry clinics and has strong links with referral centres for orthopaedics and medicine.
* Additionally, the role involves supporting local equestrian events, including British Eventing competitions and British Harness Racing, adding variety and excitement to your workload.
