Lead Mechanical Service Engineer - I am currently looking for a Lead Mechanical Service Engineer to join a facilities maintenance provider, working across mostly the Midland and parts of London within commercial buildings. This is an excellent position for someone looking for progression. Duties include: Maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems within commercial and industrial properties including gyms, Manufacturing units, gyms, retail stores, new build sites, and industrial units. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters Testing and commissioning AHU’s, FCU’s, Chillers. Follow safety procedures and regulations Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns The starting basic salary for the Lead Mechanical Service Engineer ranges from £45,000 - £50,000 based on a 40-hour working week from Monday to Friday. Other benefits include a company van, fuel card, uniform, regular training, health insurance and 25 days holiday bank holidays. This position is paid door to door, meaning you are likely to earn between £60’000 - £65’000 OTE. Requirements - You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role and any other qualifications across electrical or plumbing would be advantageous. You must also hold a current F Gas qualification and an NVQ in mechanical engineering or equivalent such as refrigeration.
