Job Description Full Stack Java Developer NO C2C - NO H1B - no exceptions Location: Durham, NC (hybrid or onsite) We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to help our organization enhance the technology, processes, and development behind leading software solutions within the fintech/Insurtech industry. Our company provides software to streamline payment processes for insurance agencies, brokers, MGAs, carriers, and premium finance companies. Candidate must prove unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor visas currently. In this role, you will: Consult with technology stakeholders at client accounts to capture technical requirements, implement complex configuration settings, and architect code changes based on those requests. Drive technical decisions based on direction from company leadership. Contribute to the culture of cybersecurity by actively recommending and implementing new routines and services. Take business requirements and develop solutions front to back, making changes in all application tiers writing high quality testable code. Create test matrixes and execute SIT testing. Manage cloud-based applications and transformation of applications and data structures between environments. Qualifications Completion of BS/MS in Computer Science or a closely related technical field. 15 years of professional software development experience Strong in Java or other object-oriented language. Experience with Java technology stack (Java EE, Hibernate, PrimeFaces) Strong in database design and tuning (Oracle preferred). Experience in design and developing rich application with JavaScript/HTML/CSS Experience with web services (REST, SOAP). Azure Qualifications to receive priority consideration: 10 years of experience designing, building, and deploying modern web applications. Familiar with CI/CD and test automation tools ( Jenkins, JUnit, Selenium, etc.) Experience with payments, financial, or accounting systems. Experience with PCI DSS Compliance and/or secure coding standards (OWASP). Interest in native mobile app development (iOS or Android).
