Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in North Bradford who are recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time and permanent position where you will play an essential role in providing support to the Finance Manager. You will ensure effective financial management across the company.
Location: North BradfordSalary: £25,000 - £27,000
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Daily bank transfers
* Deal with supplier and customer queries
* Post and reconcile bank accounts and cash books
* Maintain and reconcile client and supplier accounts
* Process and pay supplier invoices
* Reconcile petty cash monthly, check and post receipts
* Liaise with customers regarding bills
* Email copies and deal with payments to dispatch them to customers
* Foreign currency re-valuations
* Work closely with operational and commercial teams for finance support
* Ad hoc duties as required
You will need to demonstrate:
* Relevant finance qualification (or studying towards)
* Sage 200 experience (desirable)
* Ability to work as part of a small team
* Competency of numeracy and financial awareness
* Ability to manage workload and prioritise
* Excellent attention to detail
