Responsibilities: Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that engage pupils and help them develop key skills in the target language. Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessment of all four key skills (reading, listening, speaking, writing), maintaining accurate records of outcomes. Classroom Management: Manage classroom behaviour effectively through the consistent use of the School's behaviour policy. Wider School Responsibilities: Engage and actively participate in wider professional responsibilities such as lunchtime duty, parents evenings, and transition open evenings as required by the School. Qualification Requirements: Teaching Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a focus on MFL is highly advantageous. Subject Knowledge: A degree in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, Spanish & French, or a related field is essential. Teaching Experience: Proven experience as a Secondary MFL teacher with a successful track record of student achievement is positive, but not essential. Strong ECTs will also be considered for this role. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
