We are recruiting for an experienced Part Time Maintenance Coordinator to work at a client site in Hyde Manchester. This is a permanent position based on 20 - 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with a pay rate of £14.74ph PAYE.
Role Overview:
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Maintenance Department by managing all administrative tasks and supporting the Facilities Manager as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee workflow, issue and input completed worksheets, and manage the maintenance system.
2. Handle AX system tasks, including invoice processing and quote uploads.
3. Collect and process engineers' timesheets and holiday requests.
4. Maintain holiday and absence records in Timeware, keeping the Facilities Manager informed.
5. Coordinate with contractors as requested by the Facilities Manager.
6. Maintain up-to-date COSHH records in the central file.
7. Monitor and update the skills matrix for maintenance engineers, providing feedback and quotes when necessary.
8. Schedule and track servicing for MEWPs and MHE, liaising with Toyota and reporting any defects or non-compliance to the Facilities Manager.
9. Provide coverage for the Facilities Manager during leave or absence.
10. Ensure all department records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
11. Oversee waste collection processes, including arranging quotes and tracking waste levels (e.g., 3D printer ink, batteries, waste oil).
12. Manage cost uploads in AX and coordinate fuel deliveries for sprinkler pumps and used drum collections.
13. Arrange and track purchases of consumable items for the cleaning team.
Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar role.
2. Full, valid driving licence.
3. Background in engineering or construction with relevant experience.
4. Strong administrative skills and IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and AX.
5. A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
