Shifts: Various between 07:00 am to 19:00 pm

CitySprint has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager in Manchester to ensure that all Warehouse Operations are managed accordingly and in line with customer-specific SLAs. Working in collaboration with all other Operational Departments within the Service Centre to ensure all tasks are completed.
A successful Warehouse Manager will manage all day-to-day Warehouse activities to maximise productivity and efficiencies across the warehouse team within H&S parameters, whilst adhering to client-specific SLAs and KPIs, ensuring customers’ needs are met. Playing a key role in the Site Management Team, you will implement changes in processes when needed to ensure the smooth running of all warehouse operations.
The main responsibilities within the Warehouse Manager role are:
* Ensures all paperwork and systems are maintained efficiently and accurately in line with business requirements.
* Maintains warehouse housekeeping in line with Health and Safety requirements.
* Maintains equipment in line with Health and Safety requirements and reports defects where necessary.
* Plan ahead to ensure resources are in place to cover all Warehouse duties including in the instance of leave and absences.
* Ability to reprioritise tasks/workload in line with changing business needs.
* Train and develop team and implement continued change management within the warehouse environment.
Skills needed for a Warehouse Manager:
* A good understanding of operational warehouse functions.
* Good understanding of ‘on-site’ Health and Safety requirements and processes and implement best practice and training.
* Previous experience in a warehouse/logistics environment in a Supervisory capacity.
* Good understanding of Health and Safety at work within a warehouse environment.
* The ability to interrogate data and provide feedback when needed.
* Good understanding of ISO requirements.
* Good understanding of environmental systems.
