We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist post at Band 6 based in the Mansfield Local Mental Health Team (LMHT). The LMHTs have a range of mental health professionals working within them and support people who experience a variety of mental health difficulties, including complex trauma, psychosis, depression, anxiety, dissociation, self-harm and life-threatening behaviours. The successful applicant will work alongside two experienced Clinical Psychologists working in the team and will support them with the provision of psychological interventions with patients who are under the LMHT. The post holder will be a key member of the multidisciplinary LMHT, providing direct individual and group clinical work.
Clinical Associate Psychologists will be working alongside qualified Clinical Psychologists as a part of the psychological services contribution to the Mansfield multidisciplinary community teams. This post will enhance the current workforce provision serving the mental health needs of the local community. In this role, the CAP will provide a flexible community offer as they are competent in the planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence-based psychological interventions.
