We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Maritime Commercial Manager to drive sales growth and business development within our organization. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, securing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships across the marine-focused industries, including commercial shipping.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering class-leading maritime protective and advisory services, ensuring exceptional value to our clients while driving revenue and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Generation of new business opportunities in line with the directive and strategy of the business.
2. Create new leads, identify and contact decision makers, screen potential business opportunities, select and propose details to management in line with strategy.
3. Identify trends and customer needs, building short/medium/long term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
4. Management of sales pipeline.
5. Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals.
6. Work in close cooperation with the Global Operations Centre as part of a coherent team to enable and maximise client experience and operational efficiency.
7. Contribute to the development of new business materials to create, nurture and support business activity.
8. Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers.
9. Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
10. Develop and implement sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure and best practices across the company.
11. Be competent with existing business processes, software systems and data analysis tools.
12. Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events and presentations.
13. Assist with any other tasks as directed by the business.
Competencies
1. Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
3. Excellent IT skills and highly proficient in the use of Microsoft programmes.
4. Experience in professional discussions at all levels up to C-Suite.
5. Excellent maritime domain awareness and geopolitical understanding.
6. Proven ability to plan and manage resources and time.
7. Work within a growing and dynamic professional environment.
