Your responsibilities will include:
1. Teach all areas of the primary curriculum
2. Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
3. Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a
4. positive learning environment.
5. Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher, planning, prepare and present
6. lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
7. Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the
8. children
9. Working with small groups and 1:1
10. Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
11. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline
These are some of the requirements that we need from you:
12. Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
13. Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
14. 2 recent professional references
15. Experience with behaviours that are challenging
16. A calm & caring personality
17. A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupil's development
18. Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
19. Team Teach trained - or willing to attend training
