About the Role: As a Home Trainer, you will provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance on best practices while leading the induction process for our new team members. Key Responsibilities: Promote continuous learning and development within the care home. Deliver engaging induction and training sessions for new team members. Support ongoing professional development of the home's staff. Ensure all training activities align with Porthavens high standards and CQC guidelines. Foster a positive, competent team equipped to provide excellent care. About You: We're looking for someone who is confident at delivering constructive feedback to help others grow. You will have worked in a care home environment and be excited about creating positive change in our staff and residents lives. Key Skills and Experience: Experience in health and social care, ideally with a background in training and development. 2 years minimum experience working as a senior care or care team leader, delivering person centred care NVQ level 3 in health and social care (or equivalent) Ability to facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing coaching and support. Strong administrative skills and proficiency with IT. Excellent communication and feedback skills. Comfortable working in a team-focused environment.
