We are looking for new IT Service Managers to join our team. You will help us make sure that DWP colleagues and customers alike can access the services they need. You will be part of the Live Support team supporting business critical systems used around 10,000 DWP Counter Fraud and Error staff You will provide support to other members of the Counter Fraud and Error Management Team and help ensure the quality and availability of the critical Digital products and services that the department depends on. We're not looking for IT Service Management experience, though it's great if you do have some (maybe you've worked a service desk role in that past or have an IT Support background). We'll give you full training in Service Management, leading to ITIL certifications and you'll work alongside our team of experts to learn valuable skills and build a brilliant career. More about the role Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, you'll learn and deliver Service Management activities such as: Ensuring a high-quality end-to-end service, supporting services and ensuring a good user experience of the Fraud Services. Proactive role within Fraud and Error Live Support team, using recognised Service Management processes, procedures and policies to resolve incidents, problems & issues and escalating where appropriate to relevant IT service functions. Providing high quality support for all end users, resolving user issues and queries, managing end user communication and expectations. Working effectively and courteously with colleagues and stakeholders via various channels (e.g. phone, email, Teams). Seeking opportunities to identify and progress Continuous Service Improvements. There may be a requirement for you to provide out of hours support in this role. This is voluntary and may include evenings and weekends.
