To maintain and repair a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in Distribution Centres as defined on the “Scope of Works Task Sheets” in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Complete the PPM schedule within agreed KPI timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
2. Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Service Desk and assess the requirements of the job to carry out repairs as necessary.
3. Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
4. Order spares according to laid-down procedures.
5. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
6. Advise the GM and distribution line managers of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the depot.
7. Assist the Site Delivery Manager in managing and controlling depot third party alliance contractors and ensure service inspection paperwork is correctly filed on site.
8. Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
9. Carry out minor alterations and installations in accordance with current specifications and conduct all relevant testing and inspection supported with full company certification.
10. Complete general repairs and maintenance to Co-op Distribution sites as designated by the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
11. Assist City colleagues in other areas when requested by the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
12. Ensure all tools and equipment necessary (as per company tool list) to complete maintenance and repairs are used correctly and are available and serviceable at all times.
13. Liaise with project teams on any site alterations, modernisations and other relevant works.
14. Maintain accurate Time Sheets as required.
15. Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI’s.
16. Attend training courses as necessary to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
17. Comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
18. Work with company and Co-op colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained.
19. Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
20. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with City and Co-op colleagues.
21. Ensure that all costs are approved following the correct process.

Salary: £34,313 - £36,886/annum bonus and shift allowance or £43,500 per annum, negotiable, including benefits.
