Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1st and 2nd line support to customers
2. Assist with various Project related work as required (Hardware installation, Networking, Cloud Migrations, Server builds and customer onboarding)
3. Work with 2nd line team to triage IT Support requests
4. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff (1st line)
5. Complete on-site visits to customers independently
6. Carry out site audits and create technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Experience:
7. Proven track record of great IT Support experience within an MSP, NOC or fast-paced environment is Essential
8. Proven track record of great IT Support experience
9. Experience providing support for telecoms-related issues, including VoIP, SIP, and hosted telephony platforms
10. Excellent written and spoken communication skills
11. Windows Server 2012 – 2022 (ADDS, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
12. Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Entra ID, Intune and SharePoint)
13. Virtual Server technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
14. Networking (hardware installation, Wi-Fi deployment, VLAN isolation and cable termination)
15. Server and Workstation Hardware
16. Backup Solutions and Disaster Recovery
17. Daily use of Service Desk technologies such as (HaloPSA, NinjaOne, M365 Partner Portal and ScreenConnect)
18. Understanding of Cyber best practices, and experience in supporting and deploying technologies such as Firewalls and Anti-Virus
Requirements:
19. Technical support: 4 years of IT Support, or equivalent experience (required)
20. Valid UK Driving License, Own your own vehicle with the necessary insurance to enable Business Travel (Travel on behalf of the business is reimbursed)
21. Work Authorisation (UK)
22. Located reasonable commute to Basingstoke
23. Relevant IT certifications such as: Microsoft AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft MS-900 365 Fundamentals
24. A-Level or equivalent (required)
