The Role
We are expanding our team with our increased data services offering. We are looking for a senior member of the team to work with our wider data services and IT team in helping to deliver our pipeline of projects, as well as maintaining and improving our current systems and services. This role is based in our HQ in London but is part of an international company with offices in 9 countries.
Responsibilities
* Assist and help lead the Data Services Team in day-to-day activities and deliverables under the guidance of the Head of Data.
* Act as mentor for junior team and company staff members, promote yourself as a team leader.
* Be responsible for data management and data quality, including managing client and internal access to subscription services.
* Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and validation of data inputs and service levels.
* Responsible for compiling and presenting Data Services and Operation analytics data to internal stakeholders.
* Responsible for undertaking periodic reviews of our subscription services.
* Responsible for testing, maintenance, development and support of core services and components.
* Responsible for the collection and documentation of project/task requirements.
* Responsible for Managing and maintaining document libraries, avoiding duplication and data sprawl.
* Use experience to assist other departments in educating, cross selling, innovating and improving operational and application and service efficiencies and documenting improvements.
* Promote a first-class work ethic and work with clients on improving FIS’ engagement and professionalism.
* Assist with the support and testing of FIS’ application stack and data services, liaising between Communications, Operations, Business Development, Brokers, Data Services and Accounts teams.
* Assist with application reviews (internal and external), including collating facts & findings into action plans.
* Assist IT department when required with general Software, Network, Hardware, Security and Equipment tasks.
* Ensure full awareness of and adhere to internal policies that relate to the role or any relevant other activities.
* Exercise judgement and act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence and open and co-operative with the FCA, other regulators and exchanges.
* Complete any mandatory training required by the company and required deadlines.
* Perform any other reasonable duties the company may require.
Requirements
Technical skills / competencies

* C# and SQL skills highly desirable.
