Start Date: 2nd September 2024 Location: Slough We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Geography ECT to join our reputable secondary school in Slough. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS3, KS4, and optionally, KS5. You will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students to reach their full potential. Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining regular academic performance records. Create a safe and positive learning environment. Collaborate with management, staff, and parents to provide quality academic support. Participate in school-related activities, including performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings. Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote student welfare. Implement effective classroom management strategies. Requirements: QTS or equivalent Degree in a relevant field Recognised teaching qualification (preferably a bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field) Excellent classroom management and motivational skills Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with parents, staff, and students Knowledge of the national curriculum and its classroom application Ability to adapt teaching styles for different learning needs Passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives School Information: This Outstanding Ofsted-rated school values excellence and community care.
